JAMP provides special education programs and diagnostic services to children with disabilities in Johnson, Alexander, Massac and Pulaski counties in Illinois. These disabilities may include:
- Mild to severe mental impairments
- Specific learning disabilities
- Speech and language impairments
- Physical handicaps
- Hearing impairments
- Vision impairments
- Behavior disorders
- Other health impairments
JAMP promotes a progressive philosophy of service delivery, making the following services available to the school districts:
- School psychology
- School social work
- Speech and language
- Physical therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Audiological
- Early childhood
- Special education instruction
- Vocational instruction
In addition to providing diagnostic ,direct and related services to our member districts, JAMP’s Special Education staff also provides technical assistance and specific inservice/professional development opportunities for all member districts.
